Silk Purse Poems celebrates the lure of imagery and the demands of emotional honesty. Both draw on personal perception - by its very nature, unique. The concept and development of these poems are doubtlessly affected by a decent upbringing, a social work education, a joy in writing, a unique set of health challenges and an acceptance of the boundless reach of ‘possible’ .

I believe the best of poetry can bring forth treasures of feelings, thoughts and remembrance obscured from the reader’s awareness by worldly preoccupations.
